Natural Makeup with BareMinerals. Mineral foundation BarePro

Hi!

In my makeup bag, you will not find other cosmetics than mineral products, natural and safe for the skin and the environment. That’s why the mineral foundation from BareMinerals – BarePro – could not be missing. How does this eco novelty work? See for yourself!

Is BarePro really eco?

Unfortunately not entirely. Even though it contains a few natural, mineral and plant-derived substances, it might still turn out unsafe for sensitive skin. Why? There are also ingredients that can cause irritations or even acne. Those are mostly fragrances. A big surprise for me was the fact that tocopherol – vitamin E derivative – can contribute to allergic reactions. Fortunately, the cosmetic does not contain oils and parabens – ingredients considered to be irritating.

What have I gained from BarePro foundation?

BarePro foundation from BareMinerals gives a matte finish, it blends perfectly with the skin (as long as the shade matched the skin tone) and covers up imperfections. It lasts long on the skin without oxidising (it does not change the colour into darker while wearing it), also, it gives a thin and lightweight feel. Additionally, BarePro is water, sweat, moist and heat resistant. The producer suggests not using it on dry skin because it might emphasize dry skin patches. If you decide to try out this foundation, you must remember about a good moisturising cream or a hydrating primer. The cosmetic has been dermatologically tested, thus it should be used without worrying. How to do it?

BarePro foundation application

If you want your makeup to be flawless and perfect, it is best to use a brush with soft and densely arranged bristles. Apply one pump of the product to the back of your hand and then apply it to your face. Start in the middle of the face gradually moving towards the outer parts, cheeks, temples, and jawline. If you feel like you need a fuller coverage, apply another layer, making sure that each layer is thin. What is more, pay attention to blending it along your hairline and around your mouth. Set your makeup with a powder, preferably a BareMineral product as well.

Have you ever used BarePro foundation from BareMinerals? What is your favourite foundation? Are you a fan of the brand?
